MRTS is one of our strongest business areas coupled with in-house seasoned experts having extensive knowledge base to construct any kind of complex metro system. CEC has built underground Metro tunnels sections using TBM, NATM and cut-and-cover methods; Viaducts using Full Span Launching System (FSLM) and Segmental Construction methods; Underground stations using top-down method and Elevated stations; and Depots.

CEC has successfully constructed MRTS in Taipei and are still working on couple of extension sections of this project. Taipei experience has given us confidence in undertaking Delhi Metro underground section from Green Park to Udyog Bhawan with four underground stations. CEC has six Tunnel Boring Machines manufactured by Herrenknecht, Robbins and Hitachi Zosen.
